User Journeys

I'm creating stories that start from user awareness or needs and progress toward achieved goals. This process entails understanding the user's perspective, pinpointing pain points, grasping motivations, and identifying enhancement opportunities at each stage of the journey.

Although the content and format of any documentation vary depending on objectives and recipients, the goal is to understand user perceptions, track origins, and make informed design decisions to elevate the overall user experience.

Prototypes

Using low-fidelity mock-ups to create detailed interactive examples of either an entire product or a specific part of a solution is an effective method for conveying a narrative, conducting user testing, and aligning stakeholders. Visualizations, along with text, are an effective way to emphasize and explain user needs, visualize data-heavy insights, or reinforce findings from user research. I also create and use illustrations to clarify user stories and journeys, making them easier to understand and adopt.

Mentoring

I personally develop by supporting and helping other people progress, assisting them in setting goals, and navigating various challenges. I'd love to identify everyone's strengths and help them achieve their potential.

I've been a mentor for colleagues, a manager for product teams, advised students, and taught voice design at Hyper Island ↗. I'm a certified agile coach and a trained football coach certified by the Swedish Football Association, SvFF ↗.

My experience in workshop organization spans diverse formats, including in-person and remote sessions across time zones. These workshops were crafted to address precise issues, to inspire collaborative ideation rooted in insights, and foster alignment among all participants.     I've designed interfaces for a wide range of platforms, including TV screens, screen-free voice-controlled devices, and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions. I possess an understanding of how user needs can vary depending on the individual and the context, such as in-car usage, on-the-go scenarios, or at-home settings.
  • → Researcher

    I've interviewed users from diverse backgrounds worldwide and conducted user tests in various settings, ranging from their homes to train journeys and even during car commutes, in addition to controlled lab environments.
  • → Product Owner

    My responsibilities have encompassed coaching, facilitating development discussions, sizing tickets, managing the backlog, arranging sprint planning, communicating with external teams, organizing retrospectives, conducting team-building activities, and more. As a manager, I have played a key role in overseeing these tasks.
